When I was 12, I watched my mum take her last breath.
Witnessing her lose her 7-year battle to cancer instilled in me an urgency to confront life’s fragility and truly. But what did that mean?
Over the next decade, I embarked on a journey to discover the essence of a good life. I delved into philosophy, devoted myself to community service, and became a sponge for knowledge. Driven by curiosity, I embarked on a gap year after high school to explore not only industries, but also human motivation and purpose. This gap year was transformative: I took on 7 jobs, organised a mental health conference for 3,000 participants, and interviewed 100 change makers from 40 countries. Their stories reshaped my worldview, by painting a vivid tapestry of individual dreams interwoven with global impact, steering me towards a mission at the intersection of technology and humanity.
Loss isn't just about losing a loved one. Every day, we confront lost ideals, unmet expectations, and shattered realities. Often, we grieve without even realizing it.
